Inbound Exchange Mobility
Information for Foreign Exchange Students applying to the University of Delhi:
The University of Delhi (DU) actively promotes exchange mobility, allowing students to study for a semester or a year. DU has numerous Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with foreign universities, particularly in Europe and Asia, to facilitate exchange programs. These MOUs can waive tuition fees at the host university, but students may need to cover accommodation and travel costs.
The Incoming Exchange student should be enrolled with the Foreign University with whom the University of Delhi has signed an Academic Exchange Agreement. All application documents must be sent by the partner university to the University of Delhi.
Application Period
Summer Semester (August – December) : January 1 – April 30
Winter Semester (January – May) : July 1 – September 30
Documents Required: Application Form for Admission of Foreign Exchange Students must be submitted along with the following documents
- Duly filled Application Form for the Admission of the Foreign Exchange Students to the University of Delhi
- One copy of official enrolment verification from the School where the student is currently enrolled
- Study Plan (Within 500 words)
- Copy of Passport
- Copy of the Transcripts of the semesters cleared for the current course
- Copy of the syllabi currently studying
All required documents along with the Application Form for Admission of Foreign Exchange Students need to be submitted to the office of International Relations by email.
Accommodation Requirement:
The office of International Relations facilitate in accommodation at the International Students’ House for Men and Women. Students who wish to apply for University Hostel accommodation must sent duly filled Accommodation Requirement Form once they receive the affiliation letter.
