An important dimension of globalization is the mobility of human resources. This is of immense importance for higher education and research. The unrestricted (physical and virtual) movement of people and ideas across campuses, countries and continents is envisioned by globalization. This has enabled a sharing of the world’s academic and technical resources. Students, research scholars and faculty can either physically access these resources by travelling to other universities or virtually online.
The University of Delhi occupies an important place in the international research and academic community. As part of its ongoing efforts to maintain and strengthen its position in the international academic arena, the University of Delhi has been encouraging the internationalization of higher education, by participating in faculty, researcher and student exchange and collaboration programs.
The office of Dean, International Relations facilitates formal agreements (MoUs) between University of Delhi (its Departments) and foreign universities. The exchange of students, faculty, research scholars and administrative staff and their participation in collaboration programmes at the international level.
