The University of Delhi is a premier university of the country established in 1922. It is one of the largest universities in India with more than 700,000 students in the formal and non-formal/distant mode and is known for its high standards in teaching and research and attracts eminent scholars as its faculty.

The University of Delhi is interested to initiate a project which aims at bringing out an authentic translation into Hindi of a classical text/literary classic in foreign language other than English of any country. The University of Delhi would like to publish the Hindi text after due credit to the original writer and due regard for the copyright laws.
